NARUTO ANIME is about to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the arrival of the franchise’s anime , bringing several new features such as partnerships and also production scenes . But the celebrations go beyond television production, as Sasuke and Sakura will win a solo spin-off of the two, which in addition to the already defined name, won its first image. 

Released by Shonen Jump, the manga derived from Naruto will be called Sasuke Retsuden, promising a lot of action for fans.

Franchise is one of the most successful of all time 

The Naruto manga was first released in September 1997, quickly becoming one of the biggest hits of that year in Japan.

In October 2002, Masashi Kishimoto’s work made it to television for the first time, with the release of the homonymous anime. Repeating the success of the manga, the anime became one of the most watched worldwide, earning two sequels, Naruto Shippuden released in 2007 and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations , which arrived in 2017 showing the adventures of the children of the great characters in the franchise.

Now with the arrival of the 20 years of the anime, the franchise is gaining several new features, the last one being released is the spin-off with Sasuke and Sakura .

Spin-off will be published by Shonen Jump 

For the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Naruto anime, Shonen Jump , the publisher of the manga with Studio Pierrot, which releases the anime, are paying tributes to the character’s universe. 

With several news already announced, the most recent one is arousing the curiosity of fans, showing an adventure focused on Sasuke and Sakura .

Sasuke Retsuden hits Japanese newsstands on October 23, based on the eponymous light novel released in 2019 by Jun Esaka .
