Tower of Fantasy Journey – Publisher Level Infinite and developer Hotta Studio have announced details of Update 2.3, Journey into Miasma, coming to Tower of Fantasy, the open-world MMORPG, on February 2nd.

The update will also celebrate Tower of Fantasy’s six-month anniversary with a variety of events and rewards for players, such as red cores, black crystals, and more.

Update 2.3 will allow players to explore the Miasmatic Swamp, a new landscape filled with rocky valleys and lush rainforest vegetation. The location offers a very different experience than what was previously available, including new creatures and flora. 

Interactive elements such as vivid neon mushrooms and mystery eggs will further explore the World, introducing new gameplay mechanics and puzzle solving.

Two new bosses will also be introduced in Update 2.3. The first will be Jörmungandr, who uses merciless upstream attacks. The second is Eva, who performs spinning attacks reinforced with electricity. These two bosses have second phases, which increase their range and change their attack patterns.

Three new instances and challenges will be added to the game with the update. Farra and Folia, will make players fight against a musical band, needing to defend themselves from attacks made by guitars and vocals. 

Pursuit of Destiny will be based on a race, where players need to eliminate opponents while driving a race car. Finally, Origin of War will offer multiplayer gameplay, allowing combinations of formations to be performed to increase the chances of victory.
