Valentino announces haute couture show at Chantilly Castle

The next stop of Valentine is 50km from Paris, in the Chateau de Chantilly, where the Italian house launches its next haute couture collection. The catwalk will be set up amidst the sumptuousness of the palace, which was a symbol of the French Renaissance movement and is the even though it hosted the funky wedding by Ronaldo Fenômeno and Daniella Cicarelli in 2005.

The Château de Chantilly has hosted several exhibitions and has the France’s second largest art collection, second only to the Louvre Museum. The building is located in the small town of the same name, in the north of the country, and is linked to the history of whipped creamwhich would have been created there by chef François Vatel in the 17th century.

The building was erected in place of a medieval castle and belonged to Henri d’Orléans, the Duke of Aumale. Valentino has bet on many innovations. Before announcing the show at Chantilly Castle, the brand launched the Valentino chez vous in Padova.
