Dead Island 2 has sold over 2 million copies

Embracer Group, Plaion, Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios announced that Dead Island 2 has sold over 2 million copies since it was released.

According to financial report Embracer Group’s latest release is the biggest launch in Deep Silver and Plaion’s history, both in units sold and revenue generated.

“I’m happy to report that the game has now sold over two million units,” said Embracer Group co-founder and CEO Lars Wingefors in the report. “It’s gratifying to see that the decision to give (Dambuster Studios) time to polish the game has paid off.”
