This Tuesday, April 19, 2022, TF1 broadcasts the eighth episode of “Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Totem”. And the least we can say is that Denis Brogniart has a big surprise in store for adventurers! Indeed, they have already survived half of the adventure and it is now time for reunification!

Last week, Alexandra was eliminated from the council by her yellow Matingi comrades. Setha, also in danger, has left doubt that she has a necklace (actually imaginary).

This Tuesday, April 19, 2022, TF1 broadcasts a new episode of Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Totem. An evening that marks the program since it is the long-awaited reunification!

COMFORT GAME

Already 20 days for Robinson apprentices. And before we all get together on the white camp, let’s play comfort. If Denis Brogniart remains unclear about the curse of the cursed totem, he gladly presents the reward.

The winners will have the chance to enjoy a beef fillet cooked on a spit with small potatoes.

But first, you have to win. From the furthest pontoon at sea, the goal of adventurers is to clear all obstacles by advancing a symbol caught in a rope.

Once the object is released, the next adventurer follows suit. When the seven symbols are released, another mission awaits them: to build two poles using bamboo and then be able to extract two wooden circles from a vertical bamboo.

Draw obliges for red women. It is Louana who does not play.

The yellows take the lead in the race. But when it comes time to take out the rings, it is their opponents who take the advantage. The victory is finally for the reds!

Yannick would like to point out that Maxime observed the way of making the knots of the yellows. The latter defends himself by explaining that it was not prohibited.

After this small settling of scores, Denis Brogniart announces that reunification is tomorrow! Each team must designate the ambassador of the opposing tribe. Other information: the curse of the yellows will affect the ambassador.

Back on their camp, the reds enjoy their meal. Even Louana, a pescetarian for six years (and who has not touched beef for so long), is feasting.

And this displeases the boys, who would have preferred to have larger shares than the girls.

For their part, the yellows are working on the heavy task of choosing the red ambassador: they designate Louana. The reds choose Colin.

AMBASSADORS’ MEETING

Colin and Louana face Denis Brogniart as ambassadors. Even before the negotiations begin, the host announces the curse of the young sportsman, losing with his yellow team in the comfort game.

If the duo goes all the way to the draw to decide their fate, Colin will draw from a white ball and two black balls.

He will then have two chances out of three to leave the game! For its part, Louana is not impacted: its case contains a ball of each color.

Each ambassador tries to make (his) reason heard by the other. But none seems ready to sacrifice one of his comrades… That’s when they make the decision to go to the draw.

Remember that the adventurer who pulls the black ball is eliminated on the spot! In order to know the rest of the negotiations, see you next week!

On the audience side, the episode of reunification was followed by 4.17 million people according to Médiamétrie in front of its first part, for a market share of 18.8% over 4 years and over and 32.7% on women responsible for purchases under 50 (FRDA-50). 

The second part was watched by 3.84 million viewers, or 21.8% of the audience and 38.9% of the FRDA-50.
