Sega has provided updated sales figures for Sonic Frontiers, revealing that its newest mascot game has already hit the mark of 3.5 million copies sold.
Taking official sales figures into account, it surpassed Sonic Heroes (3.41 million copies in 2007) and became the best-selling 3D Sonic game to date. Something quite significant, since Sonic Heroes came out in 2003.
Sales of Sonic Frontiers should continue to rise, especially with the arrival of more news being developed by Sonic Team for the game. The first significant content update was released in March.
Sonic Frontiers is available for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC.
SEGA has revealed at their Rovio press conference that #SonicFrontiers has sold 3.5 Million units! #SonicNews
This is an increase of 300,000 since the start of April. This also puts it ahead of #Sonic Heroes, making it the best selling 3D Sonic game.
