The Awakening of the Beasts Come and Find Out!.

Still don’t know what to do this weekend? “Transformers: The Awakening of the Beasts”, the seventh film in the saga that started in 2007, opens on the national circuit this Thursday (8), a Corpus Christi holiday in some states of Brazil. The feature film is directed by Steven Caple Jr and written by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber and Joby Harold.

“Transformers: Dawn of the Beasts” is set in the 90s and is a sequel to “Bumblebee” (2018). The plot precedes “Transformers – The Movie” (2007). The work will present an existing battle on Earth between Autobots and Decepticons to the Maximals, Predacons and Terrorcons. The great villain of the film will be Scourge, who incorporates pieces of defeated Transformers into his body. The seventh feature will also have Optimus Primal, gorilla leader of the Maximals, confidant of Optimus Prime.

The story takes place in Machu Picchu, known as the “lost city of the Incas”, which is located on a mountain at 2,400 meters above sea level, in Peru. According to director Steven Caple Jr, shooting on location was challenging: “It will be difficult to film there. But we’ll make it. We are analyzing the strategy. Even if I only have to go with a camera in my hand, but there will be a great action sequence there.”he told CinePOP before they started.

The cast of the work is composed of Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Velez, Colman Domingo, Michelle Yeoh, Ron Perlman, Peter Dinklage, Peter Cullen, Cristo Fernández, John DiMaggio, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez and Liza Koshy.
