U.S. National Park

The body that was found Sunday in grand teton national park in the US state of Wyoming matches the description of Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito, the FBI announced Sunday evening. The cause of death is not yet known. The 22-year-old went missing during a road trip with her fiancé, 23-year-old Brian Laundrie.

In July, Petito and Laundrie passed several national parks in the United States in their van. They reported on their trip on YouTube and Instagram. On September 1, Laundrie returned home in the van, without Petito. Ten days later, her parents reported her missing.

On August 12, the pair were put on the side of the road by the police. Petito said she suffered from an obsessive-compulsive disorder and indicated that she and Laundrie had had an argument.

Laundrie refused to talk to the authorities. He disappeared a few days ago after being identified as a “person of interest.” He is still being searched for. A search at the Carlton Reservation in the state of Florida yielded nothing Sunday afternoon.
