Bottle of alcohol burns more than 20% of influencer’s body

An accident caused up to second-degree burns in six people during a barbecue in the rural area of ​​Marinlândia. Influencer Larissa Pagung, 27, was hit by a bottle of alcohol during the event last weekend, on Sunday (11), due to an attempt to light the barbecue. She was left with sequels of second and third degree burns. According to the family, she is admitted to a hospital in Greater Vitória.

The event took place right after a horse ride, as she usually did, in Córrego Aparecida, in the rural area of ​​the municipality. Some onlookers said that a person tried to light the barbecue, throwing an amount of alcohol that was inside a pet bottle.

“When the man threw the liquid on the barbecue, the bottle caught fire, spilling the alcohol on the people around“, informed the Military Police.

Along with the influencer, who had 29% of burns around her body, two other people were taken to the State Hospital Jayme Santos Neves, in Serra, Greater Vitória, as they suffered serious injuries. Three other people were released.

Along with the blogger, some people jumped into a small river, in an attempt to ease the pain and fire that was in their bodies.

The 36-year-old accused, who was accused of throwing a bottle of alcohol, also suffered injuries, and voluntarily gave his statement and soon after was released and the decision was made that there would not be enough elements for him to be taken to prison. The situation was considered an accident at the Colatina Regional Police Station.

Larissa also works at a mining company and constantly posts on her social media. She has more than 20,000 followers on Instagram and, in 2019, was a candidate for rodeo queen from Rio Bananal.

Family and friends are praying for her and the other injured people to recover quickly.
