Elon Musk may want to make some users pay for Twitter,
Twitter’s commercial and political users may have to pay a small fee in the future to use the platform. That reports future Twitter owner Elon Musk Wednesday on the platform.
The Tesla CEO writes in a tweet that “Twitter will always be free for normal users, but may cost a little bit of money for commercial and government parties”.
Last week it was announced that Musk has bought the social media platform. The two parties reached an agreement on an acquisition amount of 44 billion dollars (41.08 billion euros).
That equates to $54.20 per share.
What Twitter will look like after the acquisition by Musk is still unclear. The fifty-year-old entrepreneur has already said that he wants to focus on freedom of expression and that he will make some adjustments to the network to that end.
Musk himself is one of twitter’s most important users. He has more than 90 million followers, whom he tweets almost daily.
Sometimes he shares business updates and other times he posts funny pictures.
