ExCorinthiano owes R73,000 in child support for illegitimate son

The player's son is 14 years old and Jô has not been responsible for the pension since November last year, the accumulated amount is R$73 thousand, taking into account the minimum wage in Brazil.

The former striker has already had other problems related to child support for children he has outside of his marriage with businesswoman Cláudia. In 2022 the player was still married, he got involved with another woman Maiára Quiderolly, this relationship produced another child. Maiára stated through social media that he had entered into legal proceedings against the player who did not cover the food costs. Maiára also revealed that she is being sued for insult by Jô's wife, Cláudia Santos, although she has not received a subpoena, she has already received notification of the process. This accusation, if proven, could result in compensation of R$50,000.

Furthermore, the player was involved in a carnival mess. Due to the player's various betrayals, Cláudia seems to be a more jealous woman and attentive to her husband's attitudes. During the Viradouro Samba School Parade in Sapucaí, which took place last Monday, a fight occurred between the player, his wife and a Botafogo fan. According to the column by journalist Léo Dias, everything was a simple carnival event, until the moment Cláudia had a jealous crisis, according to the information released by the column, Cláudia would have been furious when she saw her husband talking to a fan in the box at Sapucaí.

Cláudia got angry and pointed her finger in the woman’s face saying “You, dear, have to learn to respect other people's women. Stop talking to my husband. You're hitting on him! Get out of here, bitch!”

To avoid a case of aggression, the player's friends joined the fight to prevent the confusion from getting worse. Apparently, the fan was just asking for a photo with Jô since she is a fan of his, after the disagreement, the women did not cross paths again until the end of the event.
