Kim Kardashian West submits request to get her own last name back

Kim Kardashian West wants her own last name back. The reality star still bears the last name of her soon-to-be ex-husband Ye, but has submitted a request to the judge to get rid of it.

In January, it was announced that Kardashian and Ye had decided to separate after a marriage of seven years. After that, the rapper would have dated for a while with the Russian top model Irina Shayk.

Kardashian also seems to have moved on with her life: she is currently dating Pete Davidson.

The 41-year-old Kardashian has the request Friday in the judge, because she wants to be officially single, reports TMZ.

It is not clear what will happen to the names of her companies – KKW Beauty and the perfume brand KKW. Those abbreviations stand for Kim Kardashian West.
