A new document from Microsoft related to its judgment involving the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has revealed that Sony may launch the PS5 Slim this year.
The document says that “PlayStation also sells a cheaper Digital Edition for $399.99 and is expected to launch a PlayStation Slim later this year at the same reduced price.”
According to the website Insider Gaming, the PS5 Slim is real and is expected to be released in September. It will have an optional disc player and sold separately, in order to reduce the entry price of the console. The website claims that this new PS5 will replace all current models by the end of the year.
If the new PS5 really comes out in two months, it won’t be long before Sony officially announces it.
