The Childhood of Romeo and Juliet: Lukas Cabral draws attention in the plot

On air in the telenovela “A Infância de Romeu e Julieta”, Lukas Cabral has lived a unique experience in his life when interpreting the character Fernando Monteiro, known as Nando. The work, written by Íris Abravanel and directed by Ricardo Mantoanelli, is produced by SBT in partnership with Prime Video and has won over audiences with its contemporary approach to one of William Shakespeare’s greatest classics.

Although Lukas had other dreams when he was younger, such as becoming a professional football player, he discovered his true passion when he made his first appearance as an extra in the production “Poliana Moça”, also on SBT. It was at that moment that he felt a significant change in his life. He fell in love and loved acting and seeing people on stage. He reveals that in the studios or in the scenographic city, actors, producers and directors become more than friends, forming a new family.

After that experience, Lukas heard that he wanted more and started thinking about getting a speaking role. Determined, he passed the next test to act in a series and, while recording it, he received another approval: finally, he was called to play the character Nando.

Despite being the opposite of Lukas Cabral in real life, the character Nando does not have much talent for sports and faces difficulties in socializing, trying to be part of the group of friends of Romeu, one of the protagonists of the plot.

The young actor from Braga, even though he is so young, already recognizes the importance of this achievement and claims that knowing the test result was one of the best news of his entire life. He says he learned from his parents, who support and encourage him unconditionally in his career. Lukas knows that he is just beginning and dreams of growing up, being recognized as a successful actor and, who knows, reaching Hollywood when he thinks about his future.
