Arlindo Cruz reappears after hospital discharge: ‘My love is back’

This Sunday, June 23, Arlindo Cruz appeared for the first time, after being hospitalized for almost a month. The sambista was discharged and the one who showed his first image at home on social networks was his daughter, Flora Cruz, who is overjoyed to have her father back.

HOSPITALIZATION

Arlindo Cruz was hospitalized on July 2 at the CTI of Casa de Saúde São José, in Humaitá, in the South Zone of Rio. According to a medical bulletin released on the date, by the health center, the singer was admitted to the hospital for treatment against pneumonia.

“Casa de Saúde São José informs that the patient Arlindo Cruz was treated at the unit on July 2nd and, since that date, he has been hospitalized at the ICU for the treatment of pneumonia. The clinical picture is currently stable”, says the medical bulletin of Casa de Saúde São José about the clinical status of the 64-year-old singer.

The singer suffered a stroke (Cerebral Vascular Accident) in 2017 and since then has been in a delicate state, with the help of his family.

He has already undergone 17 surgeries, all of them delicate, even implanting a valve in his head, necessary for the drainage of the liquid that accumulates in that region, after the stroke. After many examinations over all these years, it was revealed that the musician’s reactions, unfortunately, will not return to normal.
