Timóteo warns that Márcia has to prove that she is not the same person anymore. Celina lies that she was at church and Klaus tells her to take a scented bath because her penance will end. Bernardo gets the first slice of the cake made by Aninha, which sticks to his teeth because of Dalia’s syrup. Celina cries, while Klaus sings in the shower. Timóteo and Miguel manage to remove the cake from Bernardo’s teeth. Ana Francisca is sad to see that her efforts are not working and tells Miguel that she is going to give up. Margot supports Beto. Peixoto asks Olga for a kiss and irritates Danilo, who arrives on time. Miguel insists that Ana Francisca must not stop dreaming. Terêncio confirms with Danilo that the engagement is for real and kicks Peixoto out of his house. Klaus rubs his hands together when he sees Celina lying on the bed. Ludovico looks at Ana Francisca, who is sleeping, and a tear runs from her eyes.

Wednesday, May 24th

Ludovico leaves a red pepper next to Ana Francisca’s bed. Celina runs away from Klaus. Reginaldo puts himself between the two and tells his daughter to run away. Celina runs out the door in her nightgown. Guilherme goes after her. Danilo bumps into Celina, who asks for help. Klaus warns that everyone is kicked out of his house. Graça asks them to stay and guarantees that she will bring Celina back. Danilo takes Celina to the hotel and Margot promises to hide her. Guilherme pressures Graça to find out what deal she made with Klaus, but she denies it and the banker confirms that she just went back on her decision. Ana discovers the pepper and tries to understand where it came from. Marcia decides to offer her manicure services. Carmem is going to sell vegetables in the city. Danilo assures Guilherme that Celina is well hidden. Miguel shows a pepper drawn by Ludovico in the recipe book and is sure it was a sign for Aninha not to weaken.

Carmem smiles as she eats the cake. Timoteo likes to know that Marcia drove the wagon. Danilo has the wedding suit made. Guilherme looks for Celina at the farm. Olga tells Graça that Celina can only be at Aninha’s place. Graça pretends not to be jealous of Guilherme. Olga, Sebastian and Sofia unexpectedly arrive at Jezebel’s house for a meeting. Jezebel guarantees that she will run the factory her way and Sofia claims that she has this right. Lael makes spider-shaped bonbons. Ana Francisca goes to Barbara’s house to look for Danilo. Graça tells Klaus that Celina can only be at the farm. The banker calls Maurício and Sebastian to accompany him to the place and promises to set fire there, if necessary, to find his little goat. Márcia assures her that she’s changed and Timóteo tells her to bathe the pigs. Danilo assures Ana Francisca that he doesn’t want to talk to her.
