Former gospel singer goes topless after gender transition. Look!

Freedom! This is the feeling that the singer Ella stands out in its new version. On Monday, July 24th, the former gospel artist revealed on the Raul Gil program, when she still went by the name of Jottastirred up social media when she emerged topless.

Ella became known when she won the freshman competition of “Programa Raul Gil” when she was a child. Subsequently, she signed with a gospel label and released a few albums in the segment. In 2014, the album “Geração Jesus”, from the previous year, was nominated for a Latin Grammy.

FEMINIZATION SURGERY

The artist publicly assumed being a trans woman in April 2022, two years after leaving her gospel career. “Starting over is not easy, but I am happy to be experiencing this whole process. Happy to have so many people who support and believe in me in this new stage,” she said at the time.

“My gender transition started during the pandemic, but first I came out as an LGBTQIA+ person. And as I come from a very religious family, then, this transition was very difficult, first this self-acceptance. Once I transitioned, the first step was hormone therapy. It was really cool”, he said in a video released by the clinic responsible for performing the aesthetic procedures.

On video, Ella he also recalled his origins in Guajará-Mirim, Rondônia: “I started my life in a very small, very simple place. As I grew up in the church, I was very deprived of self-knowledge, I had the whole issue of conservatism around me, which prevented me from dressing up, from expressing myself. But then, when Mom went out, I would put a scarf on my head, one of her heels, and have fun at home alone”.

“All of this has an impact on our lives, as they are memories that will remain forever, of how the process was. Today I am living a phase of being free, of leaving the cocoon, but I can never forget that whole moment of imprisonment and at the same time of school, of learning to, even if you don’t have the hair, the clothes you want, you already feel like a woman. This issue of being a woman is not only about how you express yourself, but how you feel”, she said.
