The time has come to say goodbye to the second season of Halo at the Paramount+! The last episode is already underway and I can only say: it's unmissable. John finds himself at a mega-important crossroads, while Soren and Kwan are on one of those rescue missions. And it doesn't stop there: Halsey and Miranda end up unleashing an ancient force that promises to shake everything up.
For those on the outside, Halo is only available on Paramount+, and the second season is in full swing with the Master Chief, John-117, and his team of top Spartans from the galaxies fighting against the Covenant, some unfriendly aliens. After a giant crash on a desert planet, John feels in his bones that the war is about to change and embarks on a very risky mission to prove a theory that no one wants to consider: the Covenant have their eyes on humanity's greatest defense. With the galaxy almost going to hell, he sets off after Halothe only hope of not letting everything go to space.
Led by showrunner and executive producer David Wiener (from “Brave New World”), the series takes place in the distant future of the 26th century and delves into an epic conflict between humans and the Covenant. It mixes a lot of personal drama with action and adventure in a super well-designed future.
The novelty is Joseph Morgan (yes, the one from “Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals”) stepping into the shoes of James Ackerson, a good intelligence agent, and Cristina Rodlo (from “Nobody Leaves Alive”) as Táli Pérez, a linguistics specialist who is just starting out on her adventures. And of course, we cannot forget Laera and Kessler, who remain firm and strong in the story, showing that a family that stays together, stays together, even in the midst of chaos.
