Jake Gyllenhaal has not been put off by the angry reactions he received from fans of Taylor Swift late last year. The singer then released a new version of her song All Too Well , which would be about her relationship with the actor. Gyllenhaal says in conversation with Esquire on Thursday that he does not blame Swift.

After a dispute with her previous record company, Swift decided to re-record and re-release her older work in order to recoup the full rights to her music. As part of the album Red (Taylor’s Version) , she released a ten-minute version of All Too Well that failed to make the record in 2012.

Fans have speculated for years that this song is about her short-lived relationship with Gyllenhaal, which took place when the singer was 19 and the actor 29. Swift is said to have revealed new details about the relationship in the previously unheard lyrics of the full-length version of All Too Well . .
