Larissa Manoela makes a statement on Jean Paulo’s birthday and says: “we grew up together”

Yesterday (13), actress and singer Larissa Manoela went to social media to wish a happy birthday to Jean Paulo Campos, our eternal Cirilo, who turned 20 years old.

In a beautiful tribute text, the artist says: ”(…) We grew up together and we were able to share so many good moments that make me only have good memories..”

A bit of Larissa and Jean’s trajectory on the small screen

Larissa Manoela and Jean Campos acted in the soap opera most loved by the public in 2012, Carrossel. Lari was the snobbish and ambitious Maria Joaquina Medsen and Jean the naive and in love with her, Cirilo Rivera.

After Carrossel, came the continuation of the little group that existed within the soap opera through a series, the ‘Patrulha Salvadora’, in which the gang used to solve the problems that happened in society. In addition, the actress gave life to the twins Isabela and Manuela in the soap opera ‘Cúmplices de Um Resgate’ and also Mirela in the soap opera ‘As Aventuras de Poliana’.

Jean, after Carousel, was also on the Salvadoran Patrol and later did another job, with Maísa. In the soap opera Carinha de Anjo, the two formed a couple, with Maisa playing the influencer Juju and JP playing Zeca.

With an enormous talent, the two are currently hired by Rede Globo. However, what few people know is that Larissa’s first job at the station was in ”Dalva e Herivelto”, a miniseries in which she made a special appearance in 2010.

The actress’s official debut on the network took place in February last year, in the soap opera ‘Além da Ilusion’, once again starring twins, this time ‘Elisa and Isadora’.

According to the website Quem, the artist was very happy with the role, celebrating her evolution in her acting career: ”I have more career time as a child actress than as an actress. Now, I’m in a job that isn’t childish or high school.. ”

Jean’s debut took place in January of this year, in the soap opera ‘Vai Na Fé’, in which he plays the university student Yuri.

This is the first character from the LGBTQIAP+ community that Jean brings to life. Yuri, who is bisexual, is falling in love with his university colleague, Vini, played by fellow actor Guthierry Sotero.

In response to Quem, when asked about the possibility of a gay kiss, Jean said he was prepared for whatever story he needed to tell: ”First of all, I’m an actor and I’m prepared for whatever story I’m going to tell.”

And he continued: ”If the story is between Yuri and Vini, I will also be present. And I would give myself the same way if it were with the Outrigger (played by Mel Maia), with the fred (played by Henrique Barreira) or whoever.”

Still according to the website Quem, Jean is very grateful for the new role: ”Yuri has been a gift to me, in my transition phase from children/youths to adults. It’s really cool to be able to live this moment in such a cool job.”

In addition, he confesses that it was an opportunity to expand his work and conquer a new audience beyond the people who watched the cat on TV back in 2012: ”Andit’s been an incredible experience. And I have conquered a new audience, in addition to what I already knew from my children’s work.”
