Dragami Games was founded on May 13, 2022 after Yasuda and his Kadokawa Games colleague Satoshi Fuyuno left the company. Currently the studio has around 20 employees who worked at Kadokawa. Additionally, they own the IP rights for games like Lollipop Chainsaw, the Demon Gaze series, Relayer, √Letter, and more.

Interestingly, the announcement of Lollipop Chainsaw’s return was made the day after the game’s 10th anniversary.
