Cristiano Ronaldo has been suspended for two games by the English Football Association for knocking a phone out of the hands of a young Everton fan. (Ronaldo suspended for two matches)
The attacker, whose contract with Manchester United was terminated on Tuesday, must also pay a fine.

The incident dates back to early April. The 37-year-old Ronaldo was disappointed after a 1-0 defeat at Everton and knocked the phone out of the hands of the young supporter out of frustration. The English Football Association only announced in September that the veteran was charged for his misconduct.
Earlier, the Police of Liverpool also investigated the incident. Ronaldo then came off with a warning. He then went through the dust. “It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments. Nevertheless, we must always remain respectful, patient and an example for the youth.”
An independent commission of the English Football Association ruled after a hearing that Ronaldo’s behaviour was “inappropriate and violent”. In addition to a suspension and a fine of 50,000 pounds (converted about 57,000 euros), he received a reprimand.
The question is whether Ronaldo will actually suffer from the suspension. The Portuguese is clubless now that his contract with Manchester United has been terminated. It doesn’t look like he’s going to join another Premier League club at the moment. (Ronaldo suspended for two matches)
Ronaldo, currently with Portugal in Qatar for the World Cup, has dominated the news for a long time. The star became discredited at Manchester United after a scathing interview with television journalist Piers Morgan, in which he lashed out at the club and manager Erik ten Hag. As a result, United decided to say goodbye to the club icon immediately.
