The demo will essentially be the start of the game, which focuses on protagonist Clive’s youth and sets the stage for the main events.
Also according to Square Enix, the demo will last approximately two hours. Upon completion, players will have half an hour to explore one of the game’s open areas, filled with optional creatures to defeat and side quests to undertake.
Demo data will be able to carry over into the final game when it launches on June 22nd.
Final Fantasy XVI will be available exclusively for PS5 at launch.
