Tower of Fantasy first expansion – Level Infinite and Hotta Studio announced at Gamescom 2022 the Vera expansion for Tower of Fantasy. The new content will be free and will arrive at the end of Q4.

At the same time, it was revealed that Tower of Fantasy now has over 10 million downloads, debuting at No. 1 on the App Store free games list in 36 countries and regions, and in the global top 10 in 122 additional countries and regions. The game is also available on Google Play and will be coming to Steam and Epic Games Store at a later date .

Additionally, Frigg was shown, a new playable character coming to the game on September 1st.

Vera is the name of the new cyberpunk-themed area that will be unlocked within the game, featuring new environments, mounts, monsters, weapons, and more. The Gobby Desert makes up the main area of ​​the expansion, an irradiated desert with the cyberpunk mirroria cube found in the heart of the desert. 

Tower of Fantasy players will be excited to find new cases, raids and legendary bosses that they can take on with their friends and “teams” that bring new quests, events and progression rewards.

The Vera area was under the jurisdiction of Helgaard’s Seventh Division before the Cataclysm and lost contact with the main plane after the Cataclysm. The environment is dominated by the Gobby Desert, and the general climate is hot and dry. 

Due to the failure of his “Vera’s Fantasy Tower” (an original energy repeater) after the Cataclysm, his space-time dimension cannot be calibrated to the main plane, nor can it obtain a stable supply of original energy. The original energy radiation intensity in the area is gradually decreasing except in some highly polluted areas. While most of the surface environment can be used for human activities, most people on Vera live in Mirroria.

Frigg, a new playable character, will be officially released soon. A quiet, purposeful soldier who does her job cleanly and quickly. She has her own take on life, and often thinks about the meaning of it when she’s not busy eliminating her enemies. One of the Angels of Mercy, her body has been extensively modified with living metal to stop radiation without a suppressor. She is a loyal servant of the Sage and carries out his commands without question. As a commander, she has the right to command the forces of the Heirs of Aida, but prefers to act alone most of the time.
