Delivery woman assaulted by former athlete will be released and will respond to the lawsuit in freedom

The prosecution stated that the delivery woman is “technically primary”moreover, after seven years since his first release, he has not committed crimes again.

Viviane Maria de Souza Teixeira, 38 years old, will be released by the Justice of São Paulo. In April, the delivery woman in question was attacked by former volleyball player Sandra Mathias Correia de Sá, in São Conrado, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro.

According to the information, an arrest warrant had been requested for Viviane due to drug trafficking in Laranjal Paulista, in the state of São Paulo, in addition to being wanted since June 2017. After turning herself in to the police, Viviane got stuck within a month.

In the court decision made by Judge Mayara Maria Oliveira Resende, from the Comarca de Laranjal Paulista, Viviane must appear in court every month so that she can inform and justify her activities. It was also determined that Viviane will not be able to leave Rio de Janeiro, where she lives.

According to his defense attorney, Prisciany Sousa, “The fight is not over, the defense is now going in search of Viviane’s innocence and acquittal”.

Salesman Carlos Henrique Souza, Viviane’s 20-year-old son, sought to celebrate his mother’s freedom by saying: “I am very happy for my mother’s release. It is a moment of great joy. God is very faithful. My heart feels joy. This is the beginning of a new story in our lives. From now on, it will be a new life full of joy and love. My mother is a warrior person who overcame all of that with her head held high.”

As clarified by the Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo (MPSP): “Viviane is technically primary, for that reason”, it is possible to conclude that, after more than 7 years since his initial release, he has not committed a crime again”.

Viviane was attacked by former athlete Sandra Mathias and the video circulated on social networks. However, she preferred not to file a complaint against the attacker at the police station.

In her testimony, Sandra Mathias stated that she was a victim of homophobia and was attacked by Viviane, however, the images obtained by TV Globo do not coincide with the former athlete’s statements.
