Bad Bunny Team Shades Harry Styles

This weekend one of the biggest musical events in the world took place, the Coachella. The festival takes place in the desert of California and every year it has thousands of audiences and artists. This year the Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny was the headliner. The funky show and full of hitsmade the public delirious, however, what caught their attention was a message that appeared on the screen, an indirect message to Harry Styles. When singing the song “El Apagón” on the main stage, several images were shown on the screen, including a tweet that said: “Good night, Benito could do “As It Was”, but Harry could never do “El Apagón”. The public soon learned that the shade it was for Harry Styles, as Harry’s album won album of the year at the 2023 Grammys, which was up against Bad Bunny.

Benito de Cassio, Bad Bunny’s real name, did not comment on the controversynot even on social networks, but a representative of his team, spoke to the music magazine Rolling Stones that the Puerto Rican did not approve of the situation.

The company Sturdy.Coprovided the visuals for the big screen during the show, stated that Bad Bunny was unaware of the tweet. “The artist’s request during the visuals of the performance of ‘El Apagón’ was to use only the image and not the text of the tweet, which we hold responsible”, as the event’s headliner performs twice (two weekends) the company said it will correct the error for the next show. The Sturdy.Co representative continued: “These skins are a celebration of Bad Bunny and his dedication to empowering his home island of Puerto Rico,” explained.

Bunny even brought many guests to his show like post malone, Jowell & Randy and others. In the presentation ofLa Cancion” It is “Yonaguni” Malone teamed up with Bad and they did an acoustic.

The festival received other names from music figures such as BLACKPINK, blink 182 and others. The second part of the event takes place from Friday (21).
