Chocolate with Pepper: Ana Francisca decides to open the box

In “Chocolate com Pimenta”, on TV Globo, now that she has lost all her money, Ana Francisca (Mariana Ximenes) decides to open the box she got from Ludovico (Ary Fontoura). She will find that inside is a chocolate cookbook. Ludovico was afraid that Jezebel (Elizabeth Savalla) would use these recipes and so he left them to his wife.

It was written by Walcyr Carrasco in collaboration with Thelma Guedes and general direction by Fabrício Mamberti, with core direction by Jorge Fernando. It is inspired by the work “The Cheerful Widow”, by Franz Lehár.

Ana finds out what’s inside Ludovico’s box. Ludovico talks to Ana. Timoteo says that Ana is not in her right mind. Vivaldo tells Barbara that Danilo is going to marry Olga anyway. Danilo is suspicious of Olga for having received a stake in the factory. Ana tells the family that she is going to set up a new chocolate factory with Ludovico’s recipes. Márcia decides to sell the jewelry she gets from Vivaldo to help Aninha. Marcia discovers that the jewelry is fake Marcia goes to Margot to ask if her jewelry is really fake. Jezebel expels Vivaldo, Conde and Terêncio from her house. Margot tells Márcia that Vivaldo bought her jewelry. Marcia demands satisfaction from Vivaldo. Miguel laughs at the scandal involving Vivaldo.

Wednesday, May 10th

Márcia decides to sell the beauty salon to Marieta. Márcia delivers the money from the sale of the salon to Ana
Vivaldo and Barbara fight. Marieta tells the family that she bought the beauty salon. Márcia tells Timóteo that the jewelry she got from Vivaldo were fake. Marcia and Timoteo kiss. Timóteo tells Marcia that if she really wants him, she’ll have to prove that she’s going to accept him the way he is. The lawyer tells Danilo to marry Olga. Guilherme and Graça fight. Dona Mocinha invites Margarido to sleep with her. Her Margarido is injured and cannot walk. Bernardo tells Ana that Miguel is a thief.

Thursday, May 11th

Miguel tells Ana that he is Ludovico’s son. Márcia tells Beto and Vera that she sold the beauty salon. Miguel tells Guilherme that he might be the reason for reopening Ana’s case. Jezebel tells Sebastian and Olga that she has hired a new chef for the factory. Bernardo tries to talk to Cássia, but Marieta stops him. Danilo tells Guilherme that he is determined to marry Olga. Sebastian and the lawyer fight, but end up flirting. Seu Margarido is injured and will not be able to help Ana with the chocolates. Carmem thinks he’s going to have to sell the farm to be able to feed everyone. Ana suffers and calls for Ludovico.

Friday, May 12th

Miguel tells Ana to try to make the chocolates on her own. Olga tells Danilo that Ana decided to make bonbons to sell. Danilo tells Guilherme that he decided to lend money to Ana to help her. Danilo goes to the place to talk to Ana. Danilo spies on Ana taking a shower. Ana is scared of Danilo and Timóteo throws him out in the pigsty. Danilo asks Olga to marry him. Celina tells Guilherme that if she’s right, Danilo will want to marry Olga because of the money. Conde gets annoyed at having to pray all day. Ana changes her look and decides to try some of Ludovico’s recipes. Márcia tells Timóteo that she misses his affection. Marcia fumbles milking the cow.
