Flamengo announces the signing of Allan, formerly of Atlético-MG

O Flamengo made official this Sunday, 02, the hiring of the midfielder AllanformerAtlético-MG. The 26-year-old player arrives at the club with a contract until the end of 2027. To have the midfielder, the Rio de Janeiro club spent at least 8 million euros (R$ 42 million) in negotiations with Galo.

“The steering wheel is enough to be one of the pillars of Mengão! Our reinforcement contract will be until December 31, 2027. May you be very happy with the Biggest and Best Fans in the World by your side!”, wrote Flamengo in the publication.

Flamengo’s interest in hiring Allan is old. Jorge Sampaoli he was looking for another option for his midfield and the Atlético-MG midfielder was seen as the ideal name to bring a different functionality from what his current midfielders can provide.

The team from Rio acquired 100% of the player’s economic rights. The team from Minas Gerais has 75% of the slice (or BRL 31 million). The player arrives to be Flamengo’s third reinforcement in this transfer window. The club has already announced the arrivals of Rossi and Luiz Araújo.
