Kate Middleton: Moment of flirtation with William, this gesture almost went unnoticed at Royal Ascot… and yet!

Ascot is an unmissable event for the British royal family and it was especially so for the late Queen Elizabeth II who loved horse riding so much. A passion that led her to Berkshire to admire the performance of her horses. The sovereign no longer being there, her son Charles III took over. And it is not without emotion that he has been participating since June 20 at Royal Ascot. The king crowned on May 6 in Westminster Abbey could not hold back a few tears when he found himself facing his mother’s horses, accompanied by his wife Queen Camilla.

Friday June 23 was a particularly expected day since Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William were announced. As expected, the couple took part in this fourth day of competition and it was accompanied by Beatrice of York (Prince William’s cousin) and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi that they arrived in a carriage.

All eyes quickly turned to Kate Middleton, sublime in the long red Alexander McQueen dress that she wore for this very chic appointment. She had completed her outfit with a spectacular XXL hat but also with a pair of earrings from the French brand Sézane. For his part, Prince William had opted for the strict dress code, suit and top hat.

For this fourth day of Royal Ascot, their first as Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton had a special mission: to present the trophies to the winners of the day. A mission to which they are accustomed and which they fulfilled with flying colours.

During this award ceremony, Kate Middleton was seen sharing a moment of flirtation with her husband. A moment captured in a photo and shared by the DailyMail. On the image, we see the mother of George, Charlotte and Louis delicately placing their hand on the buttocks of her husband. Even if the protocol imposes not to exchange gestures of tenderness publicly, these are rare, but they do exist.
