Vini Jr will win a documentary on Netflix
With a 23-second teaser, the Netflix announced this Tuesday (13), that it is producing a documentary about the life and career of vinicius jr. The production has been in development since September of last year and is expected to debut in 2025. At the age of 22, Vini Jr plays for the Spanish team Real Madrid, where he wears the number 7 shirt and is considered one of the best players today.
The episodes in the doc must follow key moments in Vini’s life. Like the title goal scored by the athlete in the 2022 Champions League final, where Real played against Liverpool. His heroic manner in the World Cup wearing the shirt of the Brazilian national team and also as a great spokesperson against racism.

“Being able to tell my story and inspire girls and boys from all over the world to follow a successful trajectory in sport is what inspires me the most about this project. Football has a transforming role for young people, especially in Brazil, and this film can take that transformative power to the whole world”, Vini Jr said in a statement.
Acting in the left wing position, the Brazilian player has become a success in Europe, where he has also been the victim of racism in recent months. The most recent case that had worldwide repercussions took place at the Mestalla Stadium, in a confrontation against the Valencia team in the Spanish league. At the time, the athlete was called “monkey” by fans of the opposing team. The game was stopped for a few minutes. Upon hearing the insults, Vini decided not to shut up and at the end of the match he published a text on his social networks where he seemed to want to leave the Spanish championship.
“I will go all the way against racists. Even far from here declared.
The documentary about the life of Vini Jr will be directed by Andrucha Waddington (“Annita: Made In Honório”) and screenplay by Emílio Domingos.
