More details, via PS Blog:

In this gameplay trailer, you’ll continue to follow the journey of Basim, one of the most versatile and creative assassins in franchise history. Some new features that can be seen in the gameplay trailer are Assassin’s Focus, which allows Basim to mark and assassinate multiple targets in a row. You’ll also get classic assassin tools like throwing knives and smoke bombs. We also have a brand new ingredient for parkour, the Pole Vault. You can see Basim’s unique play style in action and the stimulating assassin environment that the city of Baghdad offers our hero. True to his training with the Hidden Ones, Basim generally prefers silent movement and a stealthy approach to hunting and attacking his targets. As part of his Blackbox missions, the game provides various opportunities for Basim to take advantage of and help him reach his targets: which one will you choose?

We’d also like you to meet a new member of our inspiring cast, Fuladh. Fuladh is a Rafiq and Master Eagle of the Hidden. Accompanied by Master Roshan, whose voice guides Basim throughout this trailer, he is another important character in Basim’s journey to become an Hidden One. Fuladh is calm, respectful and direct, and his wisdom sometimes intimidates newcomers, but hides a great sense of humor.

In the trailer, you can see a modern take on the iconic features and gameplay elements that have defined the Assassin’s Creed franchise for over 15 years. Many elements from past games are back: there’s the corner swing, the ability to arch into objects, and “elevators” to go up quickly. Can you find all the references to the game that preceded it all?

Finally, the trailer’s music provides another flavor of the musical tone one has come to expect from Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Brendan Angelides presents more of his unique and modern touch, a delicate balance between authenticity and daring to honor Baghdad, a city of 900 years.
