Breaking Bad: Brutal death of an actor of the series at only 52 years old

Fans of the cult series breaking Bad are in mourning. Indeed, one of the actors present in the casting of this cult fiction is dead. However, he is not an actor who played a leading role, but rather a secondary character. The relatives of actor Mike Batayeh, who had lent his features to the character of Dennis Markowski in the series, announced his death in a press release relayed on Facebook.

The actor died on Thursday 1st 2023 of a heart attack, at the age of 52. As a reminder, the character he embodied in breaking Bad was the manager of a laundromat. The establishment in question notably served as a laboratory for the characters of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman to produce methamphetamine.

Besides breaking Bad, Mike Batayeh has appeared in a large number of television dramas throughout his acting career. He notably starred in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Sleeper Cell, The Bernie Mac Show, Boy Meets World, or even Everybody Loves Raymond. In parallel with his television career, Mike Batayeh has also shot for the cinema. It thus appeared in American Dreamz, Just for your hairand even played the lead role in the feature film titled Detroit Unleaded. The actor thus had the opportunity to give the answer to many stars such as: Hugh Grant, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Jennifer Coolidge, Willem Dafoe and Adam Sandler in particular.

He was also one of the first comedians from the USA to perform in the Middle East. During his comedy career, Mike Batayeh performed shows in Dubai. He has also shot some shows for showtime arabia in Egypt, Lebanon, Nazareth, but also in Jordan. Finally, the comedian had also been invited by the royal family of Jordan to perform at the Amman International Comedy Festival two years in a row.
