Three Brazilians will run in the elite peloton of the German race

On April 23, the london marathon, but it’s also the day of hamburg marathon, in Germany, and we will have three Brazilians there. The first is the big one Samuel do Nascimento, Samuca, linked to the Mania de Corrida channel, which is looking to fit in a good marathon. Another athlete is Johnatas de Cruztrained by Fran Kauê, which debuted over 42 km in December last year in Malaga, Spain, and hopes to do the test it failed to deliver on Spanish soil. Now the surprise was the presence of Daniel Nascimento, Danielzinho, in the elite squad. As we all know, Daniel was supposed to run the Boston Marathon on April 17th, but his name was dropped from the peloton and now appears in Hamburg. His test condition is unknown to many and the fact that he disappeared from social networks, that he was not sharing his workouts on Strava, that he did not return to training in Kenya, caused many rumors to emerge about his real condition. Between us, I think it’s cool that he runs a marathon that doesn’t have as much pressure and many spotlights as Boston and London and it can be a test for him to regain confidence. Danielzinho told me that he hit rock bottom with what happened in New York 2022, but he also told me that in that rock bottom he found oil. So I say I can’t wait to see what he’s going to do there and I also have a lot of faith in Johnatas and Samuca.

Curiosity. The 2013 Hamburg Marathon was Eliud Kipchoge’s 42km debut. The Kenyan won with 2h05m30s, the best time of the race until last year, when compatriot CyBrian Kotut scored 2h04m47s. I hope this serves as a motivation for Brazilians.
