Fluminense is in the draw with Atlético-MG for the Brasileirão

This Wednesday, the 21st, Fluminense received Atlético-MG, at Raulino de Oliveira, for the 11th round of the Brazilian Championship. With both teams fighting at the top of the table, the confrontation was very important to define whether the teams would insert themselves once and for all in the fight for the leadership of the competition. And, as expected, the score ended with numerical equality.

The first half was intense and very balanced. Atlético-MG managed to stand out a little and create more chances of danger, until, in one of them, they opened the scoring, when the clock marked 35 minutes. Guilherme Arana crossed from the left to the mouth of the goal, Cano brushed the ball and it ended up on the thigh of Guga, who ended up scoring against. 1 to 0!

But, despite the superiority of Galo, Samuel Xavier appeared, at 46, to score a great goal and tie the game before the break. Ganso took a free kick throwing the ball into the area, Bruno Fuchs headed it off and, on the rebound, the winger dominated with style and hit a kick to leave everything the same on the scoreboard!

The second half was quite balanced, but with the Rooster, again, creating the chances of greater danger. At the sixth minute, Paulinho risked a kick and Fábio saved it. Already at 19, Mariano finished and the goalkeeper Tricolor, again, made a great defense.

In the final minutes, confusion took over the match, Arana, André and John Kennedy received a yellow card and coach Fernando Diniz was expelled. After the confusion, the match was ended.
