Jeremy Renner tells details of the snowcat accident in an interview: “My eye popped out”

Last Monday (10), the program “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where Jeremy Renner participated and told details of the accident he suffered in January of this year. the star of Avengers even joked about the feeling: “being under a giant cookie tin”.

The accident happened when the actor was pulled under the snow plow as he tried to apply the emergency brake to save his nephew, Alexander Fries, from being hit by a car. Renner also revealed what it was like for his nephew to see his uncle crushed by the snowcat. The star shared details: “He had to see his Uncle Jeremy on the floor. I didn’t see anything but he saw the blood everywhere”, said.

Jeremy commented on how lucky he was not to have severe injuries to his body’s internal organs. “It (the snowcat) didn’t hit any organ and my brain didn’t swell”, he said. The actor said that, despite not having reached internal organs, he had more than 30 fractures and said that he has discovered more injuries over time.

“My eye bulged out. That was weird, but I was lucky that none of my organs were harmed”, stated.

During the interview, show host Jimmy Kimmel called the actor ‘indestructible’ and the audience applauded the film actor several times. Jeremy spent two weeks in the hospital having surgeries and medical care. Currently, the star uses only a crutch to get around and is in the final stretch of his recovery.

After his recovery, Jeremy confirmed that he will return to the screen in the new series of disney+, “Renervations”. O reality will have the actor traveling the world and getting to know different cultures and communities. The focus of the series is that the actor helps residents of different states and countries to build or renovate vehicles.
