Perfect Love: Gilda uses her own crime in her favor to adopt Marcelino

The chapter ofPerfect love”, on TV Globo, this Monday, July 3rd, will be quite intense and full of remarkable events, as the audience will be held that will be able to give Marcelino custody (Levi Asaf) to Gilda (Mariana Ximenes), and she will do anything to succeed.

“What exactly are the reasons for this concern, Miss Gilda? In your opinion, isn’t the boy well taken care of in the Brotherhood?”, asks the Honorable. Gilda will then shoot lies about the Brotherhood, claiming to be a place without structures for children to live, and that it lives on the basis of “alms”.

The vixen will even argue that, living there, Marcelino will face “a future full of deprivation”, something far from the “dignified life” that she can offer him: “As you can see, my client has excellent financial conditions, Your Honor” , her lawyer will say.

“But I have to confess that it wasn’t always like that. I know what it’s like to go to bed hungry, because I lived it myself: I was also an orphan and was very badly treated in an infamous orphanage. I had to run away and I went to live on the street, suffering all kinds of abuse…”, Gilda will say, recalling her past on the streets of São Paulo.

ATTACKING TIDE

After the villain’s only moment of sincerity, she will act like a snake again and attack Marê (Camila Queiroz), who is Marcelino’s biological mother, but doesn’t know it and became attached to the boy anyway. Gilda will use the girl’s former unjust imprisonment (which she orchestrated) to her advantage.

“Everyone in São Jacinto knows how much Marcelino longs for a mother. (…) A proof that the priests are not prepared to offer Marcelino a ‘normal family’ is that they allowed the boy to create emotional bonds with a criminal already convicted of the murder of his own father, and who will go through a second judgment!”, she snaps.

With the judge already intrigued, she will show an old copy of the Gazeta de São Jacinto, from when Marê was arrested for the murder of her own father, Leonel Rubião (Paulo Gorgulho), who the villain killed and blamed on her. “MARIA ELISA RUBIÃO LOSE HER HERITAGE FOR BEING UNWORTHY”, states the headline in question.

“Do you think that a Brotherhood that exposes a child to living with an ex, and, quite possibly, a future prisoner, is able to raise this child?”, concludes the villain, leaving the judge thoughtful.

“Amor Perfeito” premiered on March 20, on Globo, replacing “Mar do Sertão” in the 6 pm slot. It is written by Duca Rachid, Júlio Fischer and Elisio Lopes Jr., freely inspired by the novel “Marcelino Pão e Vinho” (1953), by the Spanish writer José María Sánchez Silva.
