Raphael Veiga sees himself prepared to play in Europe after calling up the Brazilian national team

“It’s a goal. I think I’m more and more prepared for it. Things happen in the time they have to, it’s a dream of mine, who knows in the near future things don’t happen” – said the player, who pointed out his leagues favorites in Europe.

Raphael Veiga has been maintaining a good level in Brazilian football for a few seasons, but he never had his name aired in any team in Europe, Veiga is a multi-champion with the Palmeirais shirt, but he aims for higher dreams in his professional career: “It’s hard to pinpoint a country, but there are some countries that, watching the games, fill my eyes: England and Spain.

These are places I like to watch, it’s football that I follow the most. I would stick with these two countries“, he declared at a press conference. The closest the player has been to Europe is with his coach, the Portuguese Abel Ferreira, to whom Veiga thanks many for his tips and advice. Abel who also had his name aired to take over the Brazilian national team. Veiga commented on the matter:

“The joke there at Palmeiras already existed, people commenting and joking with him, but he always made it clear that he stayed at Palmeiras.

This question now about the coach who will come, if it’s Abel, a foreigner, I don’t know, it’s not up to us. What I do know is that Abel is a great coach” – stated the player.

Raphael Veiga disputes the starting place in the Brazilian national team with Lucas Paquetá who, coincidentally plays in Europe, but is not having a good time in Old Continent. With this, everything indicates that Veiga won the dispute for the selection’s midfield.
