Rita Lee reacts to the tribute made to her on the Altas Horas program

Roberto de Carvalho It is John Lee posted videos on Instagram that show the reaction of Rita Lee watching theHigh hours”, which was completely dedicated to the singer. The tribute aired last Saturday night (15), the singer was the first to perform at the program’s premiere in 2000.

The multi-instrumentalist and composer, Roberto de Carvalhohusband of Rita, with whom he has been together for almost 50 years, shared a video on his Instagram where the two appear watching the program “Altas Horas”. Check out the video below:

In a second video shared by Roberto, he shows a piece of Manu Gavassi’s presentation, who sang the song “This Rock and Roll Guy”. In the publication, Manu, who participated in the 20th season of Big Brother Brazilcommented: “What an honor to be part of this celebration! A kiss on you and the Goddess Mor”.

The homage paid to Rita featured the rocker’s son, beto leeand various artists such as: Luisa Sonza, Manu Gavassi, Tiago Iorc, Sky, Fernanda Abreu, Paula Toller and others more. The singer had her name marked on a stage of the program, and all the singers present sang songs that were hits in her voice.

John Leesecond son of Rita, also shared a video on his Instagram stories. In it, the artist appears watching the presentation of the song “Amor e Sexo” which was performed by Luisa Sonza.

Other hits featured on the show were: “Come closer”, “Now you’re just missing”, “Gardens of Babylon”, “mania for you”, “2001” and other successes that marked the career of Queen of Rock Brazilian.

Due to your state of health Rita cannot participate in the recording of the program. The rocker was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021, and since then she has been at home and undergoing treatments against the disease. The singer was hospitalized for nine days, in February this year (2023), to undergo treatments for complications resulting from cancer.
