Discover Queen Camilla’s haircut
Last Saturday (6) the coronation of King Charles III and the queen consort, Camilla, took place at Westminster Abbey, in London, England. It was arguably one of the most important moments in UK history, the last coronation taking place 70 years ago.
The queen is a discreet woman, although very vain and what caught the attention during the heart ceremony was her concern with her hair at the exact moment she received the crown. The monarch is very careful and attached to the strands, so much so that she has had the same haircut for at least 40 years, the cut is the shaggy hair.
This cut model comes from the 70s and has been adapted for the present, in its most modern version it is characterized with gradual layers along the entire length or just the ends, the idea of the cut is to play with locks of different lengths and when to finish, just give the most relaxed and messy effect, which is the English translation for “shaggy”.

In the nineties, Queen Camilla wore the hair with the movement and volume that this cut provides, in addition to some lights, but when attending the salon of professional Jo Handsford, in mayfair, the wife of King Charles III allowed the hairdresser to lighten her hair even more. Since then it’s been more than 35 years cutting hair with Jo Handsford, who had to sign a reliability agreement that forbids her from talking about her most famous client.
Even with the agreement, little information could be revealed and what is known so far is that a cut at Jo’s salon can cost up to 160 pounds sterling, the equivalent of approximately one thousand reais, about the client, the professional is limited to say that Camilla has a great sense of humor.

At the coronation, the queen’s hair is platinum, almost white, the coloring was developed to mix with the gray strands and continue with the classic air that royalty imposes.
