Golden Knights tie series

The Vegas Golden Knights tied the game in the third period and eventually defeated the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 in overtime sunday night at the Bell Centre.

The two teams competing in this semi-final series are therefore tied 2-2 after four duels.

Quebec’s Nicolas Roy played the heroes in overtime. The “Golden Knights” forward took his own comeback and had plenty of time to put the puck into carey price’s top of the net.

Defenceman Brayden McNabb had previously supported the attack and hit the target, with about 10 minutes left in the final third. In the end, Price turned away 17 of the 19 pucks his rivals sent in his direction.

The Canadian had taken the lead in the final moments of the second period. Paul Byron accepted a relay from Nick Suzuki and used his speed to stand alone in front of Robin Lehner. The CH veteran did not miss such an opportunity and placed the disc in the upper part of the net

The 29-year-old goalkeeper was preferred to Marc-André Fleury for this match, after the Quebecer made a monumental blunder that allowed the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge to win the third duel. Lehner, who was playing his first game since May 30, finished the game with a total of 27 saves.

In addition, the refereeing again caused a lot of talk during this match. The men wearing striped vests hardly used their whistles, much to the chagrin of the 3,500 Montreal fans. The most frustrating moment for the Canadian was when McNabb punched Suzuki directly in the face, while referee Chris Lee was close to the two skaters.

Ch and the Knights will meet again on Tuesday night in the fifth game of the series. It also returns to the T-Mobile Arena.
