The Met Gala always takes place on the second day of May, in 2020 the event was canceled due to Covid 19, in 2021 the ball took place in September. The theme for 2023 will be ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty‘, a tribute to the Channel stylist, who died in 2019.
