During the Met Gala, which took place this Monday (1), we saw many beauty trends and looks ”fantabulous’‘ (fantastic with wonderful). However, there are some trends that stood out the most.

micro fringes

Several celebrities invested in the great trend of the 90s, brown lipstick. Artists such as Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Anitta and model Anok Yai bet on the color, which ranged from the lightest to the darkest shade.

Hair bands and headbands

Hair bands and tiaras, a trend in the 1990s and also in the 2000s, were the bet of Cardi B, Precious Lee and La La Anthony. The look becomes something more ”retro”, as well as adding a touch of formality.

In addition to being a more laid-back hairstyle that gives an air of subtlety, it is possible to use the bun both with the hair combed back, as well as adhere to the baby hair in order to make it more ”different”. To complete the look, the bun was the bet of Quinta Brunson, Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Hudgens.

Hair accessories that give a more classic look, hair ties were used by Nicole Kidman and Karlie Kloss. They can work both as a final touch on the look, to give a hairstyle up, and to convey lightness.

A nail art, known as a creative way to decorate nails, was used by Doja Cat and Lil Nas X as a way to complement the unusual look with which the two appeared at the Met Gala. That’s what I call not being afraid to innovate, isn’t it? They delivered EVERYTHING.
