They have been worried about the safety of their idol for months, because she only posts old photos and videos and has not been seen in public anymore. Anyone who follows Spears on social media knows her dance videos that she seems to record in her own living room. These kinds of videos appear with some regularity. The photos she posts are just as recognizable.

Often made at the same location and Spears always wears the same outfits. Those repetitions of the photos and videos strengthen fans in the idea that the singer is not enjoying her life outside the door at all.

Fans have been keeping a close eye on Spears’ social media for years. During the curatorship, they looked for hidden messages from the singer: did she need help? There seemed to be no reason for that after November 2021.

Then the pop star was told that she was no longer under her father’s supervision and she could start making her own decisions.

Everything indicated that Spears did indeed enjoy her freedom. For example, in June last year she married Sam Asghari during a wedding where Madonna and Paris Hilton, among others, were present. But since November, conspiracy theories have flared up again, because Spears is never seen in public and only seems to post old movies and photos from her home.

Fans suspect that Spears is still being held against her will or sent back to an institution. They find it strange that Spears is not seen in public. It doesn’t help that Spears keeps sharing videos from the same spaces and reusing old photos on social media.

Because of all the gossip, Britney’s husband felt compelled last December to declare that he has no control over her social media. Asghari said his wife regularly takes breaks from social media because it can be “traumatic” for her. “She now has a will of her own, she is a free woman. I respect her privacy and I protect it when I can.”

Asghari’s statement did not dispel the rumors, as last weekend, Paris Hilton’s inbox flooded after posting a photo with Spears. Hilton shared a message to celebrate the birthday of their mutual friend Cade Hudson.

Fans feel that Spears looks very edited in the photo and accuse Hilton of using Photoshop. Some even insinuate that Hilton is part of the plot and knows what’s going on with Spears.

Britney Spears was seen for the first time in ages in a new photo, which Paris Hilton put online.

Hilton says she edited some photos from her post because they were rather dark. She doesn’t want to waste any more words on the “backward conspiracy theories”. Fans are eager to see more evidence that Spears was actually physically present on Hudson’s birthday. Hilton never said that the photos were taken at his birthday party.

According to Spears, that is not the case either. In the night from Monday to Tuesday, she responds to the shared photos herself. “No idea why these photos are now being posted,” writes the singer, who is fueling the rumors. “I haven’t been to a birthday party in a long time. These photos were taken years ago.”

Spears has disappeared from social media several times for periods. Currently, the comment option under her Instagram is off, so fans can no longer express their concerns directly.
