Caíque Gonçalves plans a game against Criciúma

O Ceará won the tombense, 2-0, in the last round of the Brazilian Series B Championship, at the Presidente Vargas Stadium. The alvinegro team reached its second triumph in the competition and now has seven points on the leaderboard. The next match will be against Criciúma, on Sunday, 21st, at 3:30 pm (Brasília time), away from home.

Starting in the duel against the team from Minas Gerais, defensive midfielder Caíque Gonçalves, who played again as a right-back, analyzed the week of training focused on the match against Criciúma.

“We are finishing the work week aiming at the sequel and the match against Criciúma. The victory over Tombense, playing at home, was very important, because it brings a little more tranquility to work in the week. We charge ourselves a lot, but we know the quality of our group. We did a good preparation, I believe we arrived well prepared”, analyzed through its press office.

Away from home in Serie B, Vozão has a win and a draw. For the duel against Criciúma, Caíque preaches respect to the opponent, but says that Ceará needs to react in the competition and score a good sequence of results.

“We know the difficulties we are going to face in the match against Criciúma. They are going through a good phase, they are the vice-leaders of the competition and will bring us great difficulties. But, we know the greatness of Ceará, a giant team that needs to be among the first. We respect Criciúma a lot, but we need to react and engage in a good winning streak to be among the first and enter the fight for access”, concluded.
