Earth and Passion: Johnny Massaro learned of Daniel’s death ‘in fright’

Johnny Massaro is the actor who should have his name among the most commented of the week. That’s because your character in Earth and PassionDaniel, will die in a tragic accident, which has been announced in spoilers during Globo breaks.

“As this whole dialogue, this story is inspired by Cain and Abel, so I already knew that the character was going to die, I went through a process of mourning, of denying it,” he added.

Massaro also stated that he learned of his character’s death in a very abrupt way, where he even got scared and went through a grieving process.

“At the first meeting, I arrived a little late, because I was on another job and Charles Fricks, who we’ll find out is my father, who plays Ademir, he said: ‘Oh, what a shame you’re dead’. Then I said, ‘What? I die? Like this?’. And then there was that first phase of denial in which I said: ‘I’m not dying, Walcyr. You will not kill me. I will stay’”.

Valéria Almeida joked that she lacked delicacy to tell about the death and Johnny Massaro explained:

“I think he thought I had read the synopsis, but as I was involved in other work, I didn’t have the time, but now I’m in the ‘okay, it happens’ acceptance phase,” he concluded.

Caio reveals to the family that Daniel is with Aline and that the lawyer is not Antonio’s son. Daniel is distraught by the revelations and leaves in his car. Luigi and Petra go after Daniel. Daniel has an accident. Antonio feels deceived by Irene. Irene accuses Caio of being to blame for the accident with Daniel. Caio tells Aline that Daniel tricked her. Petra gets medication from the hospital. Antônio asks Aline to leave the hospital. Aline asks Caio to send her news about Daniel. Before dying, Daniel tells Irene that he loves her. Irene accuses Caio of murder.

Caio is surprised by Graça’s proposal. Irene orders Ramiro to set fire to Aline’s plantation. Ademir alerts Caio to Graça’s family’s interest in his nephew’s money. Caio receives a message from Daniel’s cell phone asking his brother to take care of his son. Caio tells Graça that someone is using Daniel’s cell phone chip to send him a message. Graça invents for Caio that he dreamed of Daniel asking her to marry his brother. Angelina suspects that Irene is behind the fire on Aline’s plantation. Caio tells Aline that she lost her crop.
