Forbes publishes list of the highest paid athletes in the world; see who they are

The magazine forbes released the long-awaited list of the highest paid athletes in world sport, based on salaries from the respective clubs, awards, bonuses, sponsorships, between May 2022 and May 2023.

2- Lionel Messi: the world champion, Paris Saint-Germain athlete, receives 130 million.

3-Kylian Mbappe: vice-champion of the world, star of France and PSG, receives 120 million

4- LeBron James: the highest paid athlete outside of football, Lakers star in the NBA, receives 119.5 million.

5- “Canelo” Saul Alvarez: the Mexican boxer, current world champion in the light heavyweight category, receives 110 million.

6- Dustin Johnson: the American golfer receives 107 million.

7- Phil Mickelson: the most veteran athlete on the list, aged 52, receives 106 million.

8- Stephen Curry: the point guard of the Golden State Warriors, receives 100.4 million.

9- Roger Federer: newly retired tennis legend gets 95.1 million.

10- Kevin Durant: NBA basketball player, currently with the Phoenix Suns, earns $89.1 million.
