Internazionale v Milan: time and where to watch the Italian Champions League semi-final

Inter Milan and Milan face each other this Wednesday (10) for the first round of the semifinals of the Champions League. The game will take place at the stadium San Siro at 4 pm (Brasília time).

Rivals have not faced each other for almost twenty years in the competition. The memorable classic “Derby della Madonnina” has happened four times in the Champions League: twice in the 2002/3 semi-final, in which the two draws (0-0 and 1-1) were beneficial to the Milan team; and also in the 2004/5 quarter-finals, when the same team won both games (2 X 0 and 3 X 0).

Napoli is already champion of the Italian Championship, Internazionale is in a better situation: it has fourth place, with 63 points (two more than the Milan team). The two teams compete directly in Serie A for a place in the next Champions League.

An important question for Milan is the concern whether Rafael Leão, the club’s main highlight in the current season, with 11 assists and 13 goals in 36 matches, will have any game condition. On Tuesday, the Portuguese trained separately. The attacker is recovering from an injury to his right thigh.

The rest of the team continues to maintain the backbone that brought them back to the Champions League semi-finals after 16 years, with Maignan in goal, Giroud in attack, Kjaer in the center of defense and Hernández at left flank.

The second leg of this dispute will take place on Tuesday of next week, at the San Siro stadium, at 4 pm. Whoever wins will go to a confrontation with the winner of the battle between Manchester City and Real Madrid, for the Champions League.
