Ben Affleck on Jennifer Lopez interview
Ben Affleck has spoken about her in an interview for the first time since he’s been back with Jennifer Lopez. The actor tells the American website AdWeek that he has a lot of “awe” for the effect that the singer has on the world.
“As an artist, I can only make films that move people. Jennifer has made a huge group of people feel like they have a voice in this country,” says Affleck.
“That’s an effect that few people in history have had. It’s something I don’t know myself and I can only look at it with a lot of admiration and respect.”

According to the actor, Lopez, who has Puerto Rican roots, is seen as a role model for women of color in the entertainment industry.
“I have seen with my own eyes what a difference representation can make. I have seen time and time again that women of color approached Jennifer and told her how much it means to them that as a strong and successful woman she has claimed her rightful place in the business world.”
Affleck and Lopez have been back together since April. The actor and the singer were already engaged in 2002, but broke up in 2004. That would have had to do with the much media attention for the couple, who were nicknamed ‘Bennifer’.
