CBF announces schedule of the first rounds of Série B 2023

Sport Recife still does not know the dates of the first two rounds, against CRB and Vila Nova. The red black from Pernambuco still disputes the finals of the Copa do Nordeste against Ceará, and the final of the Campeonato Pernambucano 2023 against Petrolina.

As the Copa do Nordeste finals are scheduled for April 19 and May 3, the CBF changed the fourth round matches between Sport and Ceará. In this round, the team from Pernambuco will face Tombense. Vozão will face Vitória. The entity that organizes Série B 2023 has scheduled the two games for May 10.

The opening match of Série B 2023 will be between Guarani and Avaí, in Campinas, at Estádio Brinco de Ouro, on April 14, at 7 pm, Brasília time. On the same day, Ituano and Ceará face each other in Itu, at the Novelli Júnior stadium, at 9 pm. On Saturday, the 15th, four games are confirmed: Vila Nova and Novorizontino, at 4 pm; Mirassol and Chapecoense, at 5 pm; Sampaio Corrêa and Atlético Goianiense, at 5 pm; and Juventude and Botafogo-SP, at 6:15 pm. On Sunday, the 16th, three games close the first round: Criciúma and Tombense, at 11 am; Vitória and Ponte Preta, at 6 pm; and Londrina and ABC, at 8:30 pm.

Série B 2023 will continue until November 25, when the date of the last round of the competition is scheduled. The top four teams in the table at the end of the tournament will be promoted to the 2024 Serie A.
