Titanic fans pay a fortune to see the ship

According to the company ocean gatethere are passengers who have already done everything to participate in the ‘Titan’. The Journey to the Wrecks Titanic costs about 1.2 million.

Ocean Gate has undertaken two successful expeditions, one in 2021 and another in 2022; few people were able to personally visit the Titanic, since the price for one person reaches 250 thousand dollars; in addition to the dangers that travel can entail.

Renata Rojas participated in the expedition in 2021, and according to Ocean Gate’s board, the Mexican saved for 30 years to make the trip to the Titanic. In an interview with CBS, Renata stated that “dreams are priceless”.

On the first 2023 voyage of the Ocean Gate company’s Titan, the submarine that is intended to take passengers to the wreckage of the Titanic, disappeared into the ocean after 1 hour and 45 minutes underwater.

And from the moment of the disappearance of the submarine Titan in the ocean, the search for the shipwrecked man began. After five days since the submergence, the wreckage of the submarine was found this Thursday (22)

On board the Titan 2023 were five people: the pilot and four passengers.

Confirmed names are:

• Suleman Dawoodwho is the son of Shahzada;
• Hamish HardingBritish billionaire and explorer;
• Paul-Henry Nargeoletformer commander of the French Navy and leading expert on the sinking of the Titanic.

TITANIC

The ship was wrecked in 1912, north of the Atlantic Ocean, due to a collision with an iceberg; the crash and sinking caused 1500 deaths out of 2200 passengers. The Titanic ship was a great landmark for the time, being a high luxury ship and made to be the best navigation in the world. Unfortunately, the Titanic did not complete its first voyage.
